RockstarApps.com is an combination of a few aspects of what's exciting about the web today, interactivity, maps and new site designs that converge desktop applications with the web. RockStarApps.com is an evolving site that I will continuely update with new applications and blog entries that I have created and will create. The first application that I have posted on line is a project I have been calling MyGeo. MyGeo allows users to create GoogleMaps mashups for their favorite places and share them online. Using the Apache Incubator Project XAP (Full disclosure, I am a commiter on the project), I was able to quickly create the the user interface, handle events and store the information in a MySQL database. |
